Mr. Pavan Khaitan

Aged 37 years, Mr. Pavan Khaitan belongs to a business family with inherited quality of entrepreneurship from his grand father who established Amrit Banaspati Company Limited 75 years back. The nominee is a qualified chartered accountant with nearly 15 years of experience as a successful entrepreneur. He started his entrepreneurial endeavor at a young age of 20 and just after completing his professional degree, the nominee proved himself by establishing a company namely Amrit Enterprises Limited (recently merged in the Amrit Banaspati Co. Ltd) for the manufacturing of edible oils with annual turnover of 150 Crores with nominee as its Managing Director

Back in 1997, he took over as Chief Executive of the paper division of Amrit Banaspati Company Limited namely ABC Paper situated at Saila Khurd, Distt. Hoshiarpur, Punjab. Man management and the innovative approach have been the major skills of the nominee which led him to transform a losing company into a profit making company just in a span of 7 years. From the beginning, he focused his energy on growing by implementing innovative modifications and ploughing back profits on up-gradation with sound environmental practices which not only recovered the losses incurred by the company during yester years but generated positive public image and high employee morale. Presently, Mr. Khaitan is Managing Director of ABC Paper.
